サブスクリプション利用規約
These Subscription Terms set out the conditions that apply when you subscribe to Sukima's paid plan (Web Pro). The conditions that apply to the service as a whole, including free use, are set out in the General Terms of Service.
This is an English translation of the Japanese original at /terms/subscription. Both describe the same terms.
Sukima's paid plans are currently being prepared. These are the final Subscription Terms that will apply once paid plans become available.
These Subscription Terms set out the conditions that apply when you subscribe to Sukima's paid plan, "Web Pro".
These Subscription Terms apply together with the General Terms of Service (currently available in Japanese only). Where the two differ on a matter relating to a paid plan, these Subscription Terms take precedence to that extent. Matters not covered here are governed by the General Terms of Service.
The subscription is entered into between the individual user signed in to Sukima and the developer.
You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to a paid plan. This age requirement does not apply to using Sukima for free.
The only paid plan currently available is Web Pro (billed monthly).
With Web Pro you can:
On the free plan you can run up to 3 searches per week, counted across the web app and the Chrome extension combined. Unused searches do not carry over to the following week. The count resets based on your own time zone.
"Extension Pro" and "All Pro" are being prepared. They are not on sale and cannot be subscribed to at this time. If we begin offering them, we will announce the applicable conditions separately.
You can hold one paid plan at a time.
If you return to the free plan, the background position and white-area display revert to the standard settings, but the values you used on Pro are kept rather than deleted. If you subscribe again, we restore your previous settings.
Subscriptions can be billed in Japanese yen (JPY) or US dollars (USD).

How the launch price applies
The move from the launch price to the standard price is set out in advance in this section. It is not a price change under Section 12.
Where subscriptions are available
Changing currency
Taxes
Where a subscription is billed in a foreign currency, the exchange rate applied and any foreign transaction fee are determined by your card issuer.
Payments are handled through Stripe, our payment processor, using a credit card or another method Stripe supports.
Card details are collected and held by Stripe. Sukima does not store your card number.
Once you have subscribed, you can use Stripe's billing portal to:
Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment process.
Billing is monthly only. We do not offer annual billing.
There is no free trial.
The subscription period is one month, starting on your own subscription start date. Unless you cancel, it renews automatically at the end of the period and the same amount is charged (or the amount after the move described in Section 3, if that applies to you).
When Pro features become active
If you move to a higher plan, the new plan becomes active at the time of the change and the difference is prorated over the remaining period.
If you move to a lower plan, the new plan applies from your next renewal date, after the current period ends. Until then you keep your current plan.
Because Web Pro is currently the only paid plan available, plan changes will become usable after we begin offering other paid plans.
The currency cannot be changed while a subscription is active, as described in Section 3.
If a payment cannot be confirmed, for example at renewal, the payment processor may retry the charge within a certain period.
During that time we operate the service so that Pro features may continue for up to seven days. If payment still cannot be confirmed after seven days, the account returns to the free plan.
This grace period is an operational practice intended to give you time to update your payment method. It is not guaranteed as a right, and we may change its length or how it is handled without prior notice.
During the grace period we show a notice asking you to update your payment method. The payment processor may also send you payment-related notifications.
As described in Section 5, if your first payment does not complete, Pro features are not granted and this grace period does not apply.
You can request cancellation at any time from the billing portal.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current subscription period. Your access does not stop at the moment you make the request.
Even if you cancel partway through a period, we do not provide a prorated refund for that period (Section 9).
We generally do not provide refunds or prorated settlements for cancelling partway through a period, or for not having used the service.
We do, however, handle the following cases individually. Please contact us using the details in Section 13.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
The developer may add to or change the features of Web Pro.
If we discontinue Web Pro itself, we will announce it in advance on this page or within the service.
If Web Pro becomes unavailable to you partway through a paid period because of a decision on the developer's side, we will refund the amount corresponding to the unused part of that period, or provide a reasonable equivalent. Where applicable law requires different handling, that law prevails.
Ordinary cancellation by you (Section 8) is unchanged: we do not provide a prorated refund in that case.
Circumstances outside the developer's control, such as changes to the Google Calendar API, may make some or all features unavailable. The section of the General Terms of Service covering changes to and suspension of the service also applies here.
You can delete your account at any time.
If you delete your account while a paid subscription is active, we handle it in this order:
This cancellation is immediate, unlike the end-of-period cancellation in Section 8. We do not provide a prorated refund for the remaining period, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you want to keep Pro features until the end of your period, use the cancellation described in Section 8 instead of deleting your account.
Deleting your account deletes your usage data, such as your search counts.
After deletion you can register again with the same Google account. You start again on the free plan.
Records of your agreement to these terms (the version you agreed to, the language it was displayed in, and the date and time) are kept after your account is deleted, for audit purposes. These records do not contain your email address, your Google account identifiers, or payment information.
Transaction records held by the payment processor are retained according to the payment processor's own rules.
The developer may change these Subscription Terms. Any change is posted on this page.
If we make a change that is to your disadvantage, including a price change, we will notify you in advance and, as a rule, apply it from your next renewal date.
If you do not agree to the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
The move from the launch price to the standard price (Section 3) is set out when you subscribe and is not a price change under this section.
